24 - You always know at your core

As I've slowly found my way over the years to who I am now, I think I can confidently say I'm finally the woman I was always meant to be. I have definitely made some mistakes or missteps along the journey - (we are all human after all). But, now I can see how these mistakes have taught me more than any of the words expressed from others. It was crucial for me growing up to learn as much as I could about anything and be able to formulate my own decisions.

My parents hated this as they truly gave mostly great advice and couldn't understand why I had to listen to whatever they had to say, shelf it, and do it on my own anyway. Usually I returned for a conversion with them about what I had learned and why it was important for me to take the authority in my ow right. While there were times I absolutely over stepped, I know there are essential pieces of my being that were developed throughout these circumstances. Action, Affect, Reward or Consequence.

This is the process of growing and learning as we ourselves develop from our young and naive selves into the fully faceted and expanded adults we become for the majority of our lives. I'm reminded of the movies Thirteen or Girl in Progress in a sense when looking back at some portions of my life. If you've seen either of these you know that the pattern of choices or actions culminates in major reckoning of past versions of yourself to the self you currently are.

I firmly believe that you must start where you are and as the person you are before you can progress forward and grow from that point on. Anything is always possible if you believe it and work to achieve it.

Of course there are so many other important pieces of information you learn about yourself and about other people and life - all as unique to you as you are. There are plenty of self growth and maturity materials for you to find out there. I feel like no matter what as long as you are a better person each day than you were yesterday then you will find yourself already accomplishing what most wish they could.

I'm going into this new year with pretty much the same mindset I've had the last few New Years, mostly focusing my attention onto my goals and plan for the year. I want to continue to learn more about natural medicine and health, as well as keep expanding my spirituality. I want to gain more strength in my upper body with my physical exercise. I want to maintain a healthy sleep schedule (seeing as this affects my whole day). I want to plan and adhere to my content requirements and stay consistent on my various channels. I want to teach more art events and share my knowledge of cannabis and mushroom optimization.

I'm excited to see how current me will navigate 2023. I'm excited to compare this years vision to how it unfolds over the next New Year transition.

Happy New Year! Take care of yourself and wish for what you want! You have your whole life to make it happen after all.

Stay beautiful and creative wonderful ones!
